Cathy Skipper and Florian Birkmayer, MD, between them have more than forty years of teaching experience combined with professional healing modalities. They will guide you step by step through hands on experiences, using their tried and tested tools and structures in a way that is not being offered anywhere else. Cathy Skipper and Florian Birkmayer, MD practice what they preach. They are committed to their Wounded Healers’ Journeys and the Sacred Union.

Florian Birkmayer, MD is a wounded healer with years of experience guiding people through their challenges to a place of empowerment. He previously worked for years as a holistic psychiatrist.

B.A. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. M.D. from College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University. Psychiatry Residency at the University of New Mexico. Board-certified in Psychiatry. ASAM-certified in Addiction Medicine. Certified Life Coach (CLCI).

Accomodations and Prices

There are 3 remaining private rooms available with king beds and en-suite bath rooms. Cost per person $4800.

There is one room with two queen beds and an adjoining bath room for a total of two people. Cost per person $3700.

There is one room with two bunk beds and an adjoining bathroom for a total of two people. ONE SPOT LEFT. Cost per person $3200.

What is included in the price?

5 nights of luxury accommodation, all home-cooked meals and snacks, all materials and teaching, and transport for all excursions.

Flights to New Mexico and transportation from and to the airport are not included.

Are there any prerequisites?

No.

Do I have to work in the healing arts?

This is not required. An interest in healing is recommended.

What if I have any dietary requirements?

Please inform us of any dietary requirements, so we can plan accordingly.

What is the cancellation policy?

If your plans change, you can request a full refund up to 2 months before the start of the retreat (March 13). After that, we are unable to offer refunds.

How do I get there?

The closest airports are Albuquerque (ABQ) and Santa Fe (SAF). There are shuttles from both airports to Taos and we can pick you up in Taos. Some past participants have rented cars and carpooled from the airport.
